Purpose of the data collection

The legal basis for the processing of your data is the public interest. This means that the research will lead to an increase in knowledge and insight that benefits society (directly or indirectly). In this study we ask for information about age, gender, location and language. This data is only used for scientific research. These data are important in language research and allow us to map language development and differences per region. We also use IP addresses to safeguard the quality of the data. This IP information is not part of the scientific data collection and is never shared, reported or made available. Data is sent over a secure connection, so your data remains completely anonymous.
